| Description | This is the floating aquarium plan Riccia. Ideal and attractive in its own right as a decorative plant for your aquarium, it is also very useful for protecting young fry, allowing them to hide from bigger fish. Livebearers in particular, such as guppies, swordtails, platies, mollies, that drop fry over a period of time, often in a comminity tank with other aggressive fish present, the fry can swim up into the Riccia for protection. You will receive a portion of Riccia wrapped in damp newspaper inside a poly bag. Once emptied into your tank it will float on the surface and rapidly produce new plantlets under adequate lighting. |
